What a beautiful city!! I cannot believe that this time next week our GSE team will be in Santiago, Chile. I am really excited and have so much to get together before leaving.
I looked up the weather and it looks like it's going to be in the mid-70's to 80's, at least for the first part of the trip. The exchange rate is 582 Chilean pesos to $1 (today at least), though it's hard to know exactly how much that is since we don't really know how much things cost. I look forward to updating my blog with photos and great stories while I'm there.
Hello Adair. I just happened upon your groups blog pages for your impending trip. Have a great time in Chile! My son, Erik, 17, has been living and going to high school in Santiago since August 2008. He is sponsored through the local Rotary club here in Prineville, Oregon. His blog is at http://www.blogger.com/profile/12478221705836256181.
ReplyDeleteIf you come across him at one of the District 4340 meetings, give him a hard time and tell him to relish the rest of the time he has left in Chile (and to update his blog!).
Have a great trip and experience in Chile. Erik certainly has.
